Prayer- we value prayer because we know that it is essential to everything we do. Prayer is one of the main ways we communicate to God. Through prayer and the Word of God, God directs us. As a church we know that through prayer God will direct everything we do. Jesus himself took time to pray to His Father. Luke 6:12, Philippians 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Humility- we value humility in everything. We realize that what we do is not for us but it is for Jesus. Philippians 2:3, Colossians 3:12
The Holy Spirit- we value the full working of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our counselor and gives us power to witness. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit are to be active in our lives. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Romans 12:4-8, John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Galatians 5:22-23
Worship- we value worship and believe it is how we live our lives everyday for Jesus. We value corporate worship and we know that God changes lives as we worship together. Romans 12:1-2, Mark 12:30, Psalms 100:2-3
Serving- we value serving each other and our community like Jesus served. Serving is one of the main ways we grow in our relationship with God. Mark 10:45,1 Peter 4:10-11
Authentic relationships- we value having real relationships with each other. We strive to love each other as Jesus loves us. John 13:34-35, Romans 12:9-16
Word of God- we value the word of God and know that it is to be active and a live in our lives. That God gave it to us for teaching, correcting, and training. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12
Missions- we value sharing about Jesus through out the world. We know only through the good news of Jesus this world can change. Mark 17:15
Discipleship- we value discipleship and know that every follower of Jesus needs to be discipled. This is key in the growth of a follower of Jesus. We need someone to be able to walk along side us as we learn to follow Jesus. Jesus instructs us to do this and models it for us through the Gospels. Matthew 28:19
Reconciliation- we value that as followers of Jesus, we are ministers of reconciliation. It is our joy to share with people about Jesus, so they can experience the power of God’s forgiveness in their lives. We want to see people experience freedom in their lives as they become followers of Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:16-20
